THE MUSLIM CYCLIST: BRIDGING THE GAP

Overview

In collaboration with Rapha, the Evolve Cycling Network invites you to ‘The Muslim Cyclist: Bridging the Gap’ at 7.30pm on the 13th of December 2023 at the Rapha Clubhouse in Soho. The event will consist of a panel of inspirational speakers from the Muslim cycling community in London. Our first event last year had over one hundred people attending with an aim to unite the Muslim cycling community and celebrate all our successes of the year. You will have a chance to hear what we wish to achieve as a collective in the year ahead. As a club, we aim to progress and advance the cycling skills and confidence of women and children from beginner level courses all the way to discipline specific race training. Evolve was founded in 2020, at the end of the first lockdown, and began with a handful of women and has progressed to over three hundred and fifty women and children members. We were recently awarded the Excellence in Sport Award in June 2023 at the Muslim News Awards, in addition to nominations for multiple awards by London Sport and Saverah’s Women in Business.
