ROOKIE RIDE SUMMER SOLSTICE

Overview

This special edition Rookie Ride is in honor of the summer solstice! The longest day of the year challenges us to ride our longest and toughest ride together. Meet up at 7:45 am for an 8 am roll-out from Strictly Bikes on Hudson Terrace in NJ. We keep it chill with a pace of 14-17 mph. We'll take the lower roads north through Piermont and and go past Rockland Lake. We’ll go through Haverstraw and find our way to Tomkins Cove. Our food stop is at Cove Deli, where the adventurous can climb Buckberg Mountain before our return along some flat roads, before one final climb up Churchill Rd. in Tenafly. Remember to come prepared with your road bike, foot retention, helmet, and essential tools like flat-changing kits, spare tubes, hydration, and snacks.
