Overview
On Sunday 2nd of April, we return to the north for the annual RCC London season opener; the Fens Escape. Our ode to the Flanders Classics, this year will be a gruelling 125km, once again looping out of Ely. Masterminded with the generous help of Steven Arrowsmith, we'll be criss-crossing the Fens, looping back on ourselves multiple times, just as the pros will be doing that week in Flanders. Channel your inner Ian Stannard and Lizzie Deignan, whilst knowing you have the support of your clubmates beside you.

FAQs
How do I get to Ely?
There are two main options for travel up to the Fens; train and car.
The advised train leaves at 7:54 am from Kings Cross Station, and gets you into Ely at 9:22 am. We expect the last group to return to Ely by 5pm, so any return train after that should see you back in good time. The round trip via train generally costs £23.30.
Travelling by car from central London will take around an hour and 45 minutes.
What's the route?
The route will be available in the RCC App prior to the ride. It will also be emailed out the week before. Please ensure that you have the route downloaded to your head unit before the ride.
What are the stops?
There will be a feed stop around Welney, where we'll have limited ride snacks. There is also the Welney Wetlands Centre nearby, where you'll be able to purchase snacks and drinks, as well as top up your bidons.
Our final destination will be the Prince Albert in Ely. They'll be providing riders with post ride sustenance, and are about 5 minutes from Ely Station
