FAQ
Where can I find the routes?
You can find all the routes of the Escape Hsinchu right now in our Ride With GPS Route library.
What sort of terrain can I expect?
All the routes for the Hsinchu event are designed for road cycling. The optimal choice for this journey is a road bike, which you can either bring along or opt to rent. To facilitate this, we will offer RCC bike hire options well in advance. The rides on Saturday feature both hilly terrains with options for long and short distances; however, a robust physical condition is essential for participation in either.
Please ensure you are in good physical shape to keep up with the group. Should you find yourself unable to maintain the pace and get dropped, you will need to return in the support car. While the pace is intended to be social to foster group cohesion, it’s important that we do not delay excessively for any participant.
What will the routes be like?
The event spans three days of riding, including a shorter route option available on Saturday.
Each day will feature a regular route length of 55 km, with an average elevation of 1000 m.
It's important for all participants to be in good physical condition to ensure they can comfortably keep pace with the group.
