Can I get the tracks?
You can find all the routes of the Escape Bilbao as soon as we create them in our Koomot profile
What sort of terrain can I expect?
All the routes of the Bilbao will take place in road. The ideal bike for you to bring or rent is a road bike. Saturday and Sunday are rolling hills rides with long and short options however a good physical condition will be necessary for both of them.
Please be aware the rider need to be in a good phsycal condition to follow the group. In case being drop will need to come back in the support car or alone to the Hotel. Don't affraid of the pace, will be social pace but we need to not wait too long for anyone.
Will start and end locations be disclosed for accommodation purposes?
Hotel Catalonia Bilbao will be the meeting point for all the different Escape activities and therefore we recommend you to book in that hotel or close to.

What will the routes be like?
There will be a total of three days of riding with shorter options too.
The regular length every day will be 110-140km.
All the attendants need to have a good condition to been able to follow the group.
Will be a social pace, but Basque Country is hilly so please count with it.
Can I join an Escape on my own?
Escapes are designed to allow RCC members to come together and socialise.

What is the purchase deadline?
The purchasing deadline for this event will be the 7th of July.
The Escape will be canceled if a minimum of 20 people won't join.
What is covered by the price of admission?
Please check the What's included section for what costs are covered. Generally, the price of admission covers mapped routes, Ride Leader support, a gathering, and some light refreshments, with some Escapes providing accommodation. But this time also the dinner Friday and Saturday will be covered, also the guide tour both days.
The price of admission covers entry for one participant.
Am I eligible for a refund or exchange?
Escapes are non-refundable. However, we will endeavour to facilitate a ticket swap if a member finds a replacement rider. Reach out to the local host if you have any concerns in advance.
The escape will be canceled if a minimum of 20 people are not joined.
