Rapha X United Repair Center - Ride & Tour

Overview

On Tuesday, 3rd September, we'll be gathering at 7 am, for 7.15 rollout in Regent's Park, Inner Circle for a morning ride to URC. The ride is a chance to enjoy the early hours on the bike, arriving at URC by 8:00 AM. After the ride, participants will be given a tour of the URC facilities, in Finsbury Park. There will also be time for a short talk from Rapha on the Rapha Impact Report, where you will be able to ask questions. Riders are welcome to bring items needing repair, which will be fixed and sent back to you. This morning is about connecting with fellow riders and learning more about the ongoing collaboration between URC and Rapha. About Rapha & URC: Since 2004 repairs have been an integral part of Rapha's Service. We belive in keeping garments on the roads and trails for as long as possible. In 2023 we were proud to onboard the United Repair Center as our European repairs partner. URC not only extends the life cycle of clothing items, but also provides training and employment opportunities to newcomers with refugee backgrounds, young adults and other job seekers with a distance to the labour market. Rapha's repairs will take place at URC's new repair workshop in London and Amsterdam, established in 2022.
