Prestige San Francisco
Prestige San Francisco is an unsupported and unmarshalled event where teams of four take on a beautiful and challenging route through Marin.
SOLD OUTOverview
The Rapha Prestige finds it's way back to Rapha San Francisco, our first permanent Clubhouse and home to some of the first Prestiges. This route challenges teams to an 80+ mile course exploring the best roads and trails Marin has to offer. Expect a minimum of 10k feet of elevation with the majority of the route being on dirt. We recommend a minimum of 38mm gravel tires. San Francisco is known for it's incredible road and dirt riding that's accessible with quick spin over the bridge. There is stunning scenery, challenging climbs, and ripping descents. Prestiges are ridden in teams of four, with riders sticking together to pull each other through the ups and downs. With a little bit of teamwork you'll make it to the finish line together. We'll cover a lot of ground, so expect a varied route with remote dirt stretches and some Bay Area classic climbs. The deadline to book is July 15th.

FAQ
Can I ride solo or in a larger team?
The ride is designed for teams of four. This sets the Rapha Prestige apart from other ride formats. The fun is choosing your teammates and the challenge is to work together and cross the finish line together.
Are the start and finish point the same?
Yes, both the starting and finishing in the same location.
When will we receive route information?
All registered riders will recieve their route guidance, GPX files and other pertinent information one month before the event date.
What's the terrain like? What sort of bike should I bring?
The route will feature sustained climbs on road as well as dirt. Marin gravel tends to be loose, steep, and rocky. You should also be prepared for double digit gradients.
Comfort is a king so you choose you should ride something which you will feel comfortable on all day.
We recommend 35-42 mm tires for this.
I need to swap my place or the pace of a team member with another rider, how should i do this?
Please contact customer service who will be able to put you in touch with the event organiser to update their records and send an event participation waiver, which all team members are required to complete.Tickets are non-refundable so please organise reimbursement directly with your teammates.
Will there be parking?
There is some street parking around Rapha San Francisco, but it can be tough to come by. We recommend riding your bike from wherever you are staying.
What time will we start?
Check in will begin at 7 am.
How long will the ride take?
This will depend on your team, where you stop and your average speed. We would ask you to be prepared for up to 8 to 10 hours on the bike.
