Overview
The Cross Prestige will be once again returning to Manchester, with approximately 80-100km of predominantly off-road paths and bridleways. Starting from the Clubhouse, expect to be on the bike for between 8-10 hours as we seek out the roads less travelled, aiming to be quite remote at times. The surface will be mixed, with sections ranging from easy bridleways to complete wilderness. There will be one control point en route, with the GPX file and route guide being sent out a week before the event. Luckily for you Prestiges are ridden in teams of 4, so with teamwork and an equal share of camaraderie, you'll make it round together.

Arrival and sign on will be from 7.30am.
Complimentary coffee will be available, along with pastries, before a safety brief for all riders at 8.15am. Riders will be set off in groups of 3 teams.
Ride
Departing Manchester, you'll soon find yourself traversing local trails as you wind around the course. Expect flowy single track, rocky climbs and bridleway aplenty—with a control point at the halfway mark providing rest-bite and refreshments.
Finish
You'll be greeted with food and drink as you finish your ride at Track Brewery. Soak up the post-ride atmosphere as you share tales from the day gone, and challenge conquered.

What sort of bike do I need for the terrain?
As this is a Cross Prestige, we recommend a gravel or cross bike that can take at least 33m tyres— it's going to be muddy! In the past, this event has been completed of a plethora of off-road machines, including MTBs and rigid MTB's.
Is it possible to complete solo?
The ride is designed for teams of four. This sets the Rapha Prestige apart from other ride formats. The fun is choosing your teammates and the challenge is to work together and cross the finish line together. If you really can't make up the numbers, will aim to match you with other riders.
Will GPX be provided?
Yes, the GPX file will be shared at least a week before the event.
What is covered by the ticket price, if the event is unsupported & unmarshalled?
While the Prestige doesn’t offer a support car, or take place on closed roads, we do offer some support and special takeaways. Riders will receive pre-ride snacks and coffee, a control point and post rider refreshments; not to mention a meticulously crafted route.
Where can I register my team?
Once signed up, you will receive your team registration form 6 weeks out from the start of the event.
How to swap team members in an already registered team?
Please contact customer service who will be able to put you in touch with the event organiser to update their records and send an event participation waiver, which all team members are required to complete.
Tickets are non-refundable, so please organise reimbursement directly with your teammates.
Is it an A - B route or loop?
This route will be A - B, starting at Rapha Manchester, and then finishing at Track brewery.
