Rapha Prestige - Canberra, ACT
The Rapha Prestige is a self-supported riding event challenging small teams to take on testing but beautiful routes.
SOLD OUTOverview
The Rapha Prestige makes its way to the challenging and scenic Canberran countryside. Teams of four will tackle a challenging 120 - 140km mixed terrain course with between 1500 - 2500m of elevation, exploring the scenic roads and expansive views tucked in across the rolling hills of the Uriarra, west of Canberra. The full route will be made available to confirmed participants 3 days before the ride. Prestiges are ridden in teams of four, with riders sticking together to pull each other through the ups and downs. Designed to bring out the camaraderie and suffering of road riding, the rules are simple, and the course is tough. All four team members must ride – and finish – together. With Canberra offering some of the finest food and cycling experiences in Australia, come ready to enjoy both the challenge and the rewards.

FAQ
What's the terrain like? What sort of bike should I bring?
The Canberra route features rolling hills and sections of gravel.
Comfort is king so you should ride something which you will feel comfortable on all day.
The gravel route will mostly be hardpack gravel, 30mm tires will suffice. We strongly recommend bringing a surplus of spare tubes as well as the appropriate tools required to change tyres.
Do I need to book accomodation?
Yes, all teams will need to sort out their own accomodation.
Our recommendation is to book accomodation in Canberra City so you are close to the start and end of the ride, as well as close to great restaurants for the post-ride feed.
Can I ride solo or in a larger team?
The ride is designed for teams of four. This sets the Rapha Prestige apart from other ride formats. The fun is choosing your teammates and the challenge is to work together and cross the finish line together.
