RAPHA MELBOURNE MT PLEASANT RIDE

Overview

Take on one of Melbourne's classic road rides with a morning roll out to Mount Pleasant. A staple for seasoned cyclists, this route combines rolling hills, scenic roads, and one of Melbourne's most iconic climbs, the legendary "Mt P". Finish the ride back at the Melbourne Clubhouse with coffee, pastries, and good company. Mount Pleasant is designed for intermediate riders who are comfortable riding in a bunch and looking for a steady-paced weekend ride. Before we roll out, our ride leaders will deliver a pre-ride briefing covering the route, expectations, bunch etiquette, and safety. Meeting: 7:15am Location: Melbourne Guide Dogs, 6 Chandler Highway, Kew Roll out: 7:30am Return: Approximately 10:15am to 10:45am Route: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/49891696 RCC members receive complimentary coffee on return to the Melbourne Clubhouse. No RCC membership is required to join this ride. It is suitable for intermediate riders riding a road bike with clip-in pedals. Flat pedals are not permitted. Please pay attention during the ride briefing and follow the guidance of our ride leaders throughout the ride to help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. While our ride leaders are happy to assist where possible, spare parts are limited, and riders are responsible for carrying their own essentials. If the ride is cancelled due to poor weather or other circumstances, a decision will be made by midnight the evening before.
