Overview

Rapha Hong Kong’s monthly Open Women’s Ride is a welcoming community space designed to connect female cyclists of all levels across the city. Held every month, these inclusive, no-drop rides offer a supportive environment to build group riding confidence, boost fitness, and enjoy scenic Hong Kong routes with a great peloton. Beyond our monthly calendar, these rides serve as stepping stones toward our flagship annual activations - our celebration for International Women’s Day every March and the global Women’s 100 every September. Whether you are saddling up for your very first group ride or training for a major endurance milestone, bring a friend, pack your helmet, and join us on the road!

For our October session, we will be doing laps along Castle Peak Road—famous for its smooth road conditions and beautiful sea views. It’s ideal for riders of all levels, whether you are a beginner looking to practice group riding skills or an experienced rider keen to log some steady tempo mileage.

📍 Meeting Point: Nam Cheong Station, Exit A1

🕗 Meeting Time: 7:20 AM briefing | 7:30 AM rolling

🚲 Estimated Finish Time: 10:30 AM

🛣️ Distance & Elevation: ~45 km | 500 m (~7 km per lap of the Castle Peak Road small loop)

🗺️ Route: Nam Cheong -> Stonecutters Bridge (quick group photo) -> Tsuen Wan West -> Castle Peak Road Small Loop (x4) -> Shum Tseng Soul Cafe (breakfast)

We will ride together as a group to Stonecutters Bridge for a photo, then regroup at the Castle Peak car park. Absolutely. We will have dedicated ride leaders and sweepers for multiple pace groups.

We'll make a decision on whether the ride will proceed by at least one hour before the ride. Please follow our instagram @rapha_hongkong for the latest weather update of the ride.

Riders are expected to be self-sufficient. You should bring a well-maintained bike, a helmet, water bottles, front and rear lights, and carry snacks like bars or bananas to keep your energy up between official rest stops.
