Overview

The Rapha Continental formed the basis of much of Rapha's vision for road riding; groups of friends taking on testing courses in beautiful places, exploring on two wheels what would be impractical any other way. In honour of Rapha's twentieth anniversary, we're giving riders the chance to ride a route in homage to the Yorkshire Continental, leaving from Kendal and spinning out into the remote and idyllic western Dales. There will be long and short route options, but all will cross hill and dale; expect 170km with 2600m of climbing in our longer route. However, this is a celebration, so expect us to have pulled out all the stops. You'll be well looked after with support vehicles, a broom wagon and two control points with ride food and coffee to see you round. When you get finish you'll be treated with a complimentary meal, drinks and a screening of the day's Tour de France stage. As a memento you'll also have the opportunity for special kit customisation, available only at the post-ride party.
