Join Rapha San Francisco on Saturday, October 3rd as we host our annual One More City ride--a day to fundraise for metastatic breast cancer research! FUNDRAISER LINK HERE: https://pro.gofundme.com/campaign/c782633 RIDE DETAILS: A 100 mile route to Marshall, Tomales Bay, and Point Reyes starting at the Rapha Clubhouse. All levels of riders are welcome to join. This ride is mostly self-supported (you can get your nutrition needs pre-race from our partners!). WHY YOU SHOULD JOIN THIS RIDE: One More City is focused on raising funds for research into secondary breast cancer, a disease which kills an estimated 31 women daily in the UK alone. One More City has raised over £700,000 globally, funding four PhD students in London, and research projects in San Francisco, New York and Melbourne. The current campaign is a three year push to raise £300,000 for Dr Gonzalo Torga's research at the Institute of Cancer Research. His work looks at why some breast cancers resist targeted treatment, and whether a vaccine could help overcome that resistance.
