Overview

Wanting to get off-road and ride trails less travelled but not sure where to start? Our Explore Rides provide a stepping stone into getting comfortable with getting off the beaten path and riding over the rougher stuff. Starting with from the Rapha Manchester Clubhouse, you'll soon find yourself heading out of town and onto some local trails. Led by our experienced and welcoming Ride Leaders, they'll be plenty of opportunity to stop and ask questions as we take things slow and build up our technical skills together. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact edward.young@rapha.cc

FAQ

The Clubhouse is located at 50 King Street, Manchester, M2 4LY.

For our gravel rides we recommend bringing a bike with at least 33mm tyres to handle the rougher stuff. A tyre with a mixed tread would also be wise, as the chances are some parts of the trail may be wet.

Our gravel rides are open to flat-bar bikes as well as drop-bar bikes.

Requirements Include:

• A bike with flat or drop handlebars and gears in good working order. We recommend a gravel, cyclocross or a mountain bike. This ride is not road bike appropriate.

• A EU / EN approved helmet.

• Necessary tools to be self-sufficient (e.g inner tube, tire levers, multitool, pump/Co2 canisters).

• Adequate fluid and food.

• ID and emergency contact information.

• Headphones/earpieces are not to be worn as you are required to hear calls and instructions unobstructed.
