This event offers a unique opportunity to explore Rayong's tranquil beauty and vibrant culture alongside fellow RCC members from around the world. Located in the eastern part of Thailand, Rayong is renowned for its pristine beaches, lush greenery, and vibrant local markets. This charming coastal town provides the perfect backdrop for a rejuvenating retreat. Over the course of 4 days and 3 nights (21-24 Nov 2024), immerse yourself in the peaceful ambiance of Rayong. Step away from the everyday hustle and bustle to rejuvenate your body and spirit. Whether you’re cycling along scenic coastal roads, savouring the fresh and flavourful local cuisine, or simply unwinding amidst the serene natural surroundings, this retreat is designed to refresh and inspire you.

GETTING HERE
We suggest arriving to Suvarnabhumi Airport on Thursday morning, departing Sunday evening. We will arrange transfers from these locations at selected times once all guests are confirmed. Guests can also arrive directly by car.

Our team of Ride Leaders will be there to guide you throughout all the rides so you can focus on the riding and enjoying each other's company.
ON ROAD SUPPORT
Experienced support convoy on call for hydration and nutrition. They'll be there every step of the way during the rides.

Day 2: Friday, 22 Nov 2024
Coastal and Countryside Ride
Route: Rayong Coastal Loop
- Morning: Early start for the day's ride. Gather at the meeting point for a briefing and route overview.
- Ride Start: Ride along the picturesque coastal roads, enjoying the scenic views of the Gulf of Thailand. The route includes rolling hills and beautiful countryside landscapes.
- Late-morning: Coffee stop at a local cafe. Refuel and soak in the atmosphere of the countryside.
- Afternoon: Continue the ride through the countryside, passing through charming villages and lush greenery. Return to the hotel.
- Evening: Poolside Night Party. Share experiences from the day's ride and relax.

- Late-morning: Brunch and farewell gathering.
- Afternoon: Return to the hotel, pack up, and prepare for departure.
- Evening: Transfer to the airport and fly back home with wonderful memories of the Rayong escape.

What support will be available during the rides?
Support vehicles will be available during all organized rides, providing hydration, nutrition, and mechanical assistance. Professional photographers will also capture key moments during the rides.
What sort of terrain can I expect?
During Escape Rayong, you can expect a diverse range of terrains that cater to all cycling preferences. The rides will include:
- Coastal Roads: Enjoy flat to gently rolling roads along the stunning coastline, offering beautiful sea views and refreshing breezes.
- Countryside Routes: Experience quiet rural roads through charming villages and lush plantations, providing a mix of flat sections and rolling hills.
- Forested Trails: Ride through scenic forested areas with a combination of paved and gravel paths, perfect for nature lovers and adventure seekers.
- Challenging Climbs: Test your climbing skills with some moderate to challenging ascents, rewarded by panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes.
When is the purchase deadline?
The deadline for purchasing tickets to this event is set for 31st October 2024.
What does the admission fee include?

Admission is valid for one participant.
Will an itinerary be provided?
Yes, an itinerary will be shared within one month of the event.
Which airport do we fly to?
We will arrange our transfer from Suvarnabhumi Airport to Rayong.
What time should I book my flights?
The transfers from Bangkok to Rayong will take about about 3 hours.
Thursday, 21 Nov 2024 - Arrive to Bangkok: Please arrange to arrive at Suvarnabhumi Airport in the morning or by mid afternoon. The latest bus leaving will be at 3:00 PM. We will target to have everyone gather at Rayong for our welcome dinner at 6:45 PM.
Sunday, 24 Nov 2024 - Rayong to Bangkok: We will aim to check out at 12:00 PM after our morning ride and activities. Please book your flight after 6:00 PM to allow more time to decompress and check-in to your flights.
What level of fitness is required for this escape?
The escape includes rides of varying difficulty, from semi-challenging routes to leisure rides. Participants should have a moderate level of fitness and be comfortable with the distances and terrains described.
Will there be any bike maintenance services available?
Basic mechanical support will be available during the rides. All participants must have their bicycles maintained and serviced to perfect working condition before the Escape.
Am I eligible for a refund or exchange?
This event is non-refundable, but we are committed to assisting in ticket swaps should a member secure a replacement rider. If you have any concerns or need assistance, please contact the local host in advance.
Please note that the Escape event will be canceled if it does not attract a minimum of 20 registered participants.
